THE DESIGN

A housing & school redevelopment on a prestigious conservation area site in Hammersmith. Whilst the new 2FE school only retains half of the original school site the outstanding school proposals by Walters & Cohen shape a larger school building with generous playgrounds. The exemplar 1- & 2-bedroom homes by BPTW sit within 2 modern mansion buildings that complement the adjacent grade II listed mansion blocks and optimise dual aspect homes whilst still minimising overlooking of the school.

Avonmore is a BPTW project that Pete Woodford led between 2020-2022 whilst working at BPTW. Pete was key to the bid, the detailed design of the housing and was responsible for managing BPTW’s consultant team, which included Walters & Cohen.
