THE DESIGN
The extension and reconfiguration of a grade II listed cottage in the centre of the historic town of Porthleven. The proposals are bold and contemporary, but carefully preserve the original character of the heritage building, transforming this modest 2-bedroom house in to a generous 3-bedroom home, fit for the 21st century.
OUR ROLE
Studio Woodford were asked to develop detailed proposals that could sensitively modernise this existing listed building. The owners were passionate about maintaining the character of the existing building, including preservation of key stonework and original features including the fireplace.
