THE DESIGN
A large garage conversion and extension to form a welcoming new entrance and open plan kitchen-dining room with interrupted views over Bexley Wood Park. The works also reconfigure the ground floor to create a new gym and master bedroom. The changes transform this tired 1950s chalet bungalow into a six-person family home that can meet the needs of this young growing family.
OUR ROLE
Studio Woodford undertook detailed and technical design services for an existing building in Bexley. The owners were keen to expand their home in such a way that it would quickly fulfil their current needs, as well as create sufficient flexibility to accommodate their future needs - as the kids get older and need their own space.
