THE DESIGN

Evelyn House is an attractive art deco-inspired building in the Charlton Riverside Area. The proposals are inspired by local heritage assets - in particular the Siemens Factory - and provide sixty-seven affordable homes with flexible commercial spaces and significant public realm improvements. This pioneer project was the second to be approved in the Charlton Riverside area and will help kick start regeneration ten years after the original SPD masterplan was approved.

Evelyn House is a BPTW project that Pete Woodford led between 2018-2022 whilst working at BPTW. Pete was pivotal to the concept and detailed design, all stakeholder meetings and was the architectural witness at the planning inquiry. The design and images remain the copyright property of BPTW.
