Store Road transforms a derelict industrial site, into an exemplar housing scheme, by embracing this prime waterside corner plot. The proposals needed to be able to stand alone, as well as able to stimulate the emerging context envisioned by L.B. Newham and the GLA as part of their Opportunity Area Planning Framework. The resulting building is inherently sculptural, with equal craftsmanship & attention to detail on all sides and has been described by Hyde as “their North Woolwich landmark building”.
